After parting ways with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet on Wednesday, Rokas Giedraitis signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional season with La Laguna Tenerife, as announced by his new side on Thursday. The move combines with his first journey in the Basketball Champions League. The 32-year-old forward will suit up for the team coached by Txus Vidorreta in Group D of the 2025-26 Regular Season.
Elsewhere in Group D, Tofas announced a one-year contract extension with team captain Tolga Gecim. The 29-year-old winger is a veteran of 50 Champions League appearances, spread between his current club and his stint with Banvit. Bouncing back, the upcoming six-game double-legged round-robin schedule additionally features Bnei PenLink Herzliya and Trapani Shark, besides Tenerife.
Meanwhile, 33-year-old Xavier Munford joined Hapoel Netanel Holon. A former NBA player with 24 appearances between the Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks shapes a BCL newcomer. Powering up the Israeli club, he will compete in Group C alongside Joventut Badalona, Cholet, and one more team coming out of the Qualification Rounds.
Resurfacing in the Qualifiers after an appearance with BG Gottingen in 2023, 29-year-old Philipp Hartwich inked a one-year contract with Basketball Lowen Braunschweig.
Elsewhere, Fribourg Olympic tabbed 27-year-old Mack Smith, 22-year-old Da’Sean Nelson, and 18-year-old Simon Bernegger.
Also, PAOK mateco confirmed the arrival of 23-year-old Giorgos Fillios.
The 2025-26 season starts with three Qualification tournaments between September 19 and 25, and moves to the Regular Season with the tip off scheduled for October 7.
