Promitheas has officially announced the signing of American swingman JP Macura for the 2025–26 campaign.
Macura, a 196 cm tall forward who can also fill minutes at shooting guard, brings experience from both the NBA and various European leagues.
After a four-year college career at Xavier (2014–18), he made brief appearances in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets and Cleveland Cavaliers, while also standing out in the G League.
Since 2020, the 29-year-old has been playing in Europe, with stops in Turkey, Italy’s Derthona, and most recently Treviso, where he averaged 11 points and 2.3 rebounds per game while shooting 40% from three.
