AEK BC announced the signing of forward Vassilis Charalambopoulos for the 2025-26 season.
Charalambopoulos, 27, joins AEK after recovering from a torn ACL injury that kept him out for almost the entire 2024-25 season with Turk Telekom. He’s back in his native Greece where he began his career with Panathinaikos Athens (2012 – 2018) and then played with Olympiacos Piraeus (2019-2021).
In 2023-24, Charalambopoulos had 10.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists with Dinamo Sassari in the Basketball Champions League. He posted 8.9 points and 3.9 rebounds in the Italian League.
