Following the confirmation of RaiQuan Gray and the ultimate arrival of Vasilis Charalampopoulos, AEK continues to strengthen their roster ahead of next year’s participation in the Greek League and BCL.
Dragan Sakota’s team officially announced the arrival of Chris Silva, a 1996-born center with previous experience in the NBA, especially in Miami. He last played with Bnei Herzliya in Europe, averaging 15.1 points and 8.0 rebounds in the Israeli League.
Despite Gabon not making it to FIBA AfroBasket 2025, he still dominated individually in the qualifying stage, posting up 25.0 points and 14.7 rebounds in three appearances with the national team.

Tenerife brings in the 20-year-old Argentinian
While AEK keeps on adding pieces, another qualified team from last year’s Basketball Champions League Final Four made sure to add another player to their rotation.
It’s the case of La Laguna Tenerife, which added the 20-year-old Argentinian playmaker Dylan Bordon on a two-year deal. The South American player was previously with Gran Canaria.
He has been representing Argentina over the past few years, and even made it to the country’s preliminary roster ahead of FIBA AmeriCup 2025. He put up 11.4 points at the U19 World Cup in 2023.
