The French player once played with the Denver Nuggets and the Milwaukee Bucks

The Portuguese will be participating in the 2025-26 Basketball Champions League Qualifiers, facing Falco-Vulcano Szombathely in the Qualification Round Tournament 3.

“I think I’m a complete and versatile player, with a lot of experience. On the court, I can do everything: shoot, create, defend, whatever is needed. I also bring energy,” he first said.

Axel Toupane also shared his excitement ahead of the season. “I’m very excited, I’ve heard great things about the city; it’s beautiful. I’ve never been to Porto, only to the South when I was a kid,” he added.

The French forward also won the bronze medal with his country at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China. He also played for Olympiacos and the Denver Nuggets prior in his career.
