Betinho committed to a tenth season with Benfica by inking a one-year contract extension, the team announced on Friday.

The 40-year-old small forward has been with the Eagles since 2019, following his initial stint between 2011 and 2014. Besides winning multiple domestic titles, including seven Portuguese League championships, he played in 31 Basketball Champions League games. Bringing his experience to the 2025-26 edition of FIBA Europe’s premier club continental competition, he will be part of the Regular Season in Group H, opposite Dreamland Gran Canaria, Le Mans and Spartak Office Shoes.

After a mutual decision to call off a recent agreement with Galin Smith, Bursaspor Yorsan picked up 27-year-old Javin DeLaurier and 23-year-old Bora Satir for the next season, starting from a Qualification tournament in Samokov. The Duke product is a veteran of 16 BCL games, played between Rytas and Hapoel Atsmon Holon, while the Turkish guard logged ten appearances with fellow Bursa outfit Tofas.

Heading to the same eight-team Qualifiers tournament, with an opportunity to complete Group C alongside Joventut Badalona, Hapoel Netanel Holon and Cholet, 31-year-old C.J. Wilson and 25-year-old Langston Wilson joined Pelister Bitola on Wednesday.

On Friday, Uniclub Bet – Juventus, in a bid to reach Group B alongside ALBA Berlin, ERA Nymburk and Sabah, reunited with 29-year-old Ivan Vranes, after parting way with John Fulkerson and Taryn Todd.

Another team with a chance to complete Group B, Fribourg Olympic re-signed 25-year-old Chimezie Offurum on a one-month trial on Thursday.
