Basketball Champions League qualifying tournaments are underway in Samokov, Bulgaria, and the first finalists are confirmed.
In Qualification Round Tournament 2, competing for a spot in Group C alongside Joventut Badalona, Hapoel Holon, and Cholet, Bursaspor and Antwerp Giants reached the final.
The Turkish side defeated PAOK in the QRT2 semifinal 92–73, with Berk Can Akin scoring 22 points and Brandon Childress adding 19.
Earlier, Antwerp Giants beat Pallacanestro Reggiana 81–78, with Joel Murray scoring 18 points, dishing seven assists, and grabbing six rebounds.
Meanwhile, in QRT 1 quarterfinals, Kalev/Cramo took down Rilski Sportist from Samokov 93–84, led by Tyson Acuff and Severi Kaukiainen who each scored 20 points.
Patrioti Levice also advanced, eliminating Petrolina AEK Larnaca with a 90–69 win behind Gabe Dorsey’s 20 points, while Will Carius contributed a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds.
