Slovakian League champions Patrioti Levice will participate in the Basketball Champions League regular season for the first time in club history.
Will Carius drained a tough, turnaround triple at the buzzer and finished with 33 points and 11 rebounds to push Patrioti Levice past Bakken Bears Aarhus 100 – 98 after two overtimes in the Final of the Basketball Champions League Qualification Tournament 1. Thanks to this win, the Levice side secured the last available regular-season spot.
This was Carius’s first 3-pointer in the game after six misses from beyond the arc.
