Szolnoki Olaj recorded a win in the first round of the Basketball Champions League, as they convincingly defeated Slovak Levice (85-54).
An excellent game was delivered by the home team’s guard Rayland Holt, who finished the match with 19 points and seven rebounds. He was the initiator of Szolnok’s series, along with Adam Somogyi, which helped the Hungarian champion turn the game in their favor at the end of the first and beginning of the second quarter.
By the end, the question of the winner was never in doubt.
In addition to him, the mentioned Somogyi added 15 points, five rebounds, and six assists, Auston Barnes scored 11, while Boris Krnjajski contributed with ten points. For the Slovak champion, Wil Carius and Aatu Kivimaki led the scoring with 14 points each.
