The first week of Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, went into Ryland Holt prevailing in a fan vote for the Player of the Week nod.
The 24-year-old winger was announced as the first recipient of the 2025-26 season on Friday. Marek Blazevic of Tofas, Brandon Jefferson of Karditsa Iaponiki, Xavier Munford of Hapoel Netanel Holon, and Fabian White Jr. of Galatasaray MCT Technic were the remaining Team of the Week members in Gameday 1 of the Regular Season.
After introducing himself to the BCL with ERA Nymburk, logging six appearances in the 2024-25 installment, Holt bounced back with Hungary’s NB I/A champion NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz on Wednesday. He tallied 19 points behind 6/8 field goals, including four triples, seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal, with his side blowing out Patrioti Levice in DVTK Arena.
The second part of a six-game double-legged round-robin schedule in Group F sends Olaj to Athens to face AEK in SUNEL Arena on Wednesday.

Resuming action next week, all 32 participants will be in Gameday 2 action on Tuesday and Wednesday, continuing the battle for eight direct tickets to the Round of 16 via first place in their respective groups, with the eight remaining spots to be decided in a best-of-three Play-In series between the second and third seeds.
