Mersin recorded their first win in this edition of the Basketball Champions League. After an initial loss, the Turks responded brilliantly and convincingly defeated Oostende on the road, with a score of 104-86.

Five players from Mersin scored in double figures, with Justin Cobbs and Anthony Cowan leading the scoring with 19 points each. Gabriel Olaseni had 18 points and nine rebounds, and Jack White contributed with the same number of points. Ronald March was also impressive with 15 points and ten rebounds.

For Oostende, Silas Melson was the top scorer with 18 points.

Except for a few moments in the first quarter, Mersin had the lead from start to finish in Belgium and, unexpectedly easily, secured a win with a score of 104-86.

After two rounds in Group G, Mersin has a 1-1 record and will host AS Karditsa in the next phase. On the other hand, Oostende is 0-2 and will now face a visit to Unicaja in Malaga.
