Chris Silva prevailed in a fan vote to emerge as the second Player of the Week of the Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL.

La Laguna Tenerife’s Jaime Fernandez, Fabian White Jr. of Galatasaray MCT Technic, Patrioti Levice’s Rickey McGill, and DJ Horne of MLP Academics Heidelberg were the remaining candidates announced on Thursday. The winner followed on Friday.

Silva, 29, lifted AEK with 19 points behind 6/7 two-pointers and 7/8 free throws, six rebounds, two blocks, two steals, and two assists over 28 minutes in a win over NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz in SUNEL Arena on Wednesday. A brilliant display with the Gabonese forward/center logging his second BCL career appearance.

Breaking a tie in first place of Group F, the Queen improved to 2-0. Resuming action in Gameday 3, the team coached by Dragan Sakota faces Levice in Bratislava’s Gopass Arena on October 28.
