Four out of the eight Basketball Champions League Regular Season groups launch Gameday 3 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
In a battle of undefeated teams in Group E, Galatasaray MCT Technic and Fitness Wurzburg Baskets are looking to be in control at the midway point of a six-game double-legged round-robin schedule. Also, 26-year-old Fabian White Jr. of the Lions is on the verge of becoming the first player in league history to score 15 or more points in 11 straight showings, surpassing a ten-game streak of DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell and Zoltan Perl.
After falling to 0-2, Igokea m:tel signed 29-year-old Petar Popovic, who returns to the Champions League packing three appearances with FMP Soccerbet from last season. In Laktasi, his new side is up against Trieste on Tuesday, shortly before tipoff in the other Group E matchup in Turkcell Basketball Development Center.
More Tuesday action in Group H, with Spartak Office Shoes and Dreamland Gran Canaria to break a 2-0 tie, and Le Mans and SL Benfica to break a 0-2 tie.
On Wednesday evening, Joventut Badalona and Ricky Rubio host Bursaspor, with Cholet and Hapoel Netanel Holon on the other side of the Group C schedule.
In Group A on Wednesday, Promitheas Vikos Cola travels to Rytas, and MLP Academics Heidelberg is at home opposite Legia Warszawa.
