After eight matches of the third round, three teams remain undefeated, while an equal number of clubs have yet to record a win.
This Tuesday and Wednesday featured a total of eight matches in the third round, with another eight scheduled for next week. Galatasaray, Joventut, and Gran Canaria remain perfect, while Benfica, Trieste, and Bursaspor will be seeking their first victory in the fourth round.
The round kicked off on Tuesday with Igokea’s victory over Trieste (91-76), highlighted by a masterful performance from Breein Tyree, who scored 27 points.
On the same day, Galatasaray won the group derby against Wurzburg (89-83), Le Mans claimed their first win against Benfica (89-69), and Gran Canaria maintained their perfect record with a victory in Subotica against Spartak (93-83).
As for the second day, it began with Legia’s triumph in a thriller against Heidelberg (74-67) and Rytas’s win over Promitheas (98-79).
In the evening segment, Hapoel Holon, powered by Jordan McRae, defeated Cholet in France (103-92), while Joventut put on an impressive performance at home to convincingly beat Bursaspor (94-67).
