Prevailing in a fan vote opposite four more standouts, 32-year-old Arturas Gudaitis gets the Player of the Week nod for the third week of Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL

Arturas Gudaitis of Rytas was named Player of the Week for the third week of the Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL.

After joining Breein Tyree of Igokea m:tel, Braian Angola of Dreamland Gran Canaria, Jordan McRae of Hapoel Netanel Holon, and James Palmer Jr. of Galatasaray MCT Technic on the Team of the Week on Thursday, the 32-year-old Lithuanian center dominated the fan vote en route to the Player of the Week award. The winner was confirmed on Friday.

The native of Klaipeda went for 19 points behind 4/7 two-pointers and 11/14 free throws, seven rebounds, one steal, and one assist over 23 minutes, lifting Rytas over Promitheas Vikos Cola in Twinsbet Arena on Wednesday. He ended up with an efficiency rating of 19.

From introducing himself to FIBA Europe’s top-tier club continental competition with the Vilnius outfit last March, he started the 2025-26 journey with 10.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest over three appearances.

After taking down the team based in Patras, Rytas jumped to 2-1 in Group A, at the midway point of a six-game schedule in the Regular Season. A home game versus MLP Academics Heidelberg resumes action on November 5.
