Legia pulled off a major upset in Greece, securing their second win in the Basketball Champions League by defeating Promitheas away with a score of 85-72.
The Polish team played an excellent game, building a lead of over 20 points by halftime and calmly closing out the match despite Promitheas being considered favorites beforehand.
Andrzej Pluta led Legia with 17 points and six assists, while Race Thompson added 15 points and Shane Hunter scored 14. For Promitheas, Nasos Bazinas had 23 points, three more than Rob Gray.
After four rounds, both teams have a record of 2-2 and will continue to fight for advancement. In the next round, Promitheas will visit Heidelberg, while Legia will host Rytas.
