Back in 2019, following his explosive journeys in the Champions League and the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Bamberg, the former South Alabama standout left Germany after the first five years of his professional career. He bounced back in the EuroLeague with Olympiacos, and later suited up for Zalgiris and FC Bayern Munich as well.
Returning to Lithuania at the top of the 2025-26 season with Lietkabelis, Rubit tallied 15.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest over eight BKT EuroCup appearances, all starts. In the Betsson LKL Regular Season, he added 14.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.5 blocks per contest over ten appearances, including seven starts.
Moving to the team coached by Ibon Navarro, the Malaga outfit is on the verge of clinching a berth in the Round of 16 of Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, after a 4-0 start in Group G of the Regular Season. At the domestic level, a 5-3 tally sits sixth in Spain’s Liga Endesa standings.
Filou Oostende, currently at 0-4 in Group G, loaned 18-year-old Daan Pieters to Okapi Aalst for the rest of the season on Tuesday.
