AEK Athens’ injury troubles continue, as Gian Clavell suffered a right-shoulder dislocation during his very first practice with the club.
The Puerto Rican international collided with a teammate during Friday’s session at the AEK BC Academy Sports Center, as the Athens club reported.
The medical staff immediately performed a reduction, while Clavell will undergo an urgent MRI at Metropolitan General to determine the full extent of the damage. Understandably, there is growing concern within the club.
AEK is already without Gray, Brown, Charalampopoulos, and Katsivelis, though Kuzminskas has just returned. The injury comes only two days before the game against Olympiacos and five days ahead of a crucial clash with Levicé.
