Alba Berlin claimed an important road victory, defeating Chalon 100–91 in the fifth round of Group B in the FIBA Basketball Champions League.

Malte Delow was excellent for the visitors with 18 points, Jack Kayil added 17, while Alex O’Connell chipped in with 14 points.

For Chalon, Jeremiah Hill scored 26 points and had seven asissts and Zachary Cuthbertson finished with 17.

It was a great game between the two clubs, decided in the closing minutes. The hosts led midway through the final quarter (85–83), but Alba responded with a 13–0 run, pulled away, and secured a huge win.

The two teams now share the top spot in Group B at 4–1, but Alba is ahead thanks to overturning the deficit from the first game, in which Chalon won by five in Germany (81–76).

This means everything will be decided in the last round, but Alba has the advantage. If the German team beats Sabah at home, it will finish first and qualify directly for the Top 16.

Chalon, on the other hand, must win away at Nymburk and hope for a German slip-up if it wants to finish top of Group B.
