Big win for Turkish team in Bursa

Tofaş Bursa and Trapani Sharks clashed in Round 6 of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season in a direct fight for second place in Group D.

Trapani were close to securing a valuable road win, but Alex Perez forced overtime, where Tofaş found the edge and defeated the Italian side 99–93 to finish second behind La Laguna Tenerife. Trapani ended the group stage in third place, with both teams closing the Regular Season with a 3–3 record.

Alex Perez led the way for the winning side with an impressive performance, finishing just one rebound shy of a triple-double with 22 points and 13 assists, including the basket that forced overtime.

Hugo Besson, who sealed the win from the free-throw line, followed with 16 points, while Marek Blažević and Isaiah Whaley added 15 points each. Maxwell Lewis contributed 10 points for Tofaş.

For Trapani, J.D. Notae starred with 27 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Matt Hurt followed with 19 points and seven rebounds, while Paul Eboua added 10 points and seven boards. Alessandro Cappelletti contributed nine points and dished out 13 assists.
