Alba Berlin earned a victory in Round 6 of Group B in the FIBA Basketball Champions League, defeating Sabah 106–82 on their home court.
The home team had as many as five players in double figures, with Moses Wood standing out at 17 points. Bennet Hundt added 14 along with 11 assists. On the other side, Gerry Blakes scored 20 points, while Keith Jordan Jr. contributed with 16.
It was clear from the start that the match was crucial for both teams, and Sabah started better — even leading after 20 minutes (42–46).
However, everything turned around in the second half. Alba played much better, put together a run at the start of the third quarter, and ultimately claimed a convincing triumph.
With this, the Berlin team finished first in Group B with a 5–1 record, ahead of Chalon due to a better point difference. Sabah, meanwhile, is eliminated at 1–5, the same as Nymburk, but the Czechs had a superior head-to-head point difference against Sabah.
