Sixteen teams are left in Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, resuming their championship bid in Gameday 1 of the Round of 16. Eight games all around Europe this week to open a new double-legged round-robin schedule after the Regular Season, with eight Quarterfinals tickets available across all four groups equally. To start, impressive streaks are being put to the test.
Gameday 1 of Group L is on Tuesday, with Dreamland Gran Canaria returning from a perfect Regular Season to host Trieste, which has prevailed in its last three road games. With experienced BCL stars on both teams on the other side of the schedule, La Laguna Tenerife and ERA Nymburk meet in Santiago Martin Arena.
In the first week of Group K, back-to-back champion Unicaja seeks a 14th straight continental win with Fitness First Wurzburg arriving in Malaga packing three wins in a row on the road. Also on Wednesday, Joventut Badalona will be looking for a seventh consecutive win, with Elan Clalon on four straight away wins.
Gianmarco Pozzecco is back in the league with Galatasaray MCT Technic, facing the challenge of Le Mans and its three straight road wins on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Rytas looks to extend a perfect 2025-26 home streak to four games with Hapoel Netanel Holon in Vilnius.
A Greek collision in Group J features AEK, carrying a four-game winning streak in SUNEL Arena, and Karditsa Iaponiki. Before Wednesday’s affair, Tofas and ALBA Berlin place a three-game home streak and a five-game overall streak against each other in Bursa on Tuesday.
