Rytas secured a victory in the first round match of the Round of 16 in the BCL, as they dominated Hapoel Holon at home with a score of 106-81.
Jordan Walker scored 20 points along with seven assists, Arturas Gudaitis added 14 and Jerick Harding and Jordan Caroline scored 13. Besides these three, three more players from the home team scored in double digits.
For the visitors, Xavier Munford scored 23 points, while Derrick Walton Jr. added 15.
Hapoel started the match well, leading for most of the first quarter and ending it with a two-point advantage (22-20). However, that was all we saw from the visitors. Rytas made a big run towards the end of the second quarter, scoring 11 consecutive points to lead 45-30, and they only increased the lead further to secure a victory at the start of Group I.
In seven days, Rytas will play at home against Galatasaray, while Hapoel Holon will host Le Mans
