Eight more games were played in the Basketball Champions League Round of 16, after which four more teams remained undefeated after two rounds.
Gran Canaria scored three points in a quarter, but won a game
The round began on Tuesday in Greece, where Tofas easily secured victory against AS Karditsa (93-79). Following that, Gran Canaria achieved triumph, scoring three points in a quarter in the Czech Republic, but ultimately defeated Nymburk (67-64).
On the same day, Galatasaray defeated Rytas in an away game after a dramatic comeback (89-85), Le Mans easily handled Hapoel Holon (106-85), while in the final match of the day, Chalon defeated Wurzburg at home (86-75).
Joventut won the Spanish derby
On Wednesday, three matches were played, and it all began in Athens, where AEK was better than ALBA after a comeback (88-80), with 24 points from Frank Bartley. In a Spanish derby, Joventut was superior to Unicaja (71-66), while in a spectacular finale to the round, Tenerife defeated Trieste, also after a major comeback (84-82).
