David DiLeo of Le Mans Sarthe Basket has been named Player of the Week for Game Day 2 of the Round of 16 in the Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL.
DiLeo was one of five standout performers selected for the Team of the Week, alongside Bruno Fitipaldo (La Laguna Tenerife), Errick McCollum (Galatasaray MCT Technic), Frank Bartley IV (AEK), and Grant Golden (Elan Chalon).
Fans then had 24 hours to vote online for the Player of the Week, with DiLeo earning 56% of the votes to claim the honor.
The 6’8” forward impressed once again as Le Mans defeated Hapoel Netanel Holon on the road, draining six three-pointers for the second time this season. His sharpshooting helped Le Mans remain undefeated at 2-0 in the group, currently leading ahead of Rytas, Galatasaray, and Holon.
