Sadik Emir Kabaca has signed with Tofas, the team announced on Sunday.

The Best Young Player of the 2022-23 installment of the Basketball Champions League is back in the top-tier club competition of FIBA Europe, finding the Bursa outfit at 1-1 in Group J of Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, Round of 16.

After parting ways with Galatasaray during the offseason, the 25-year-old power forward switched to Casademont Zaragoza but was recently released from his contract and became a free agent. The Izmir native is a youth product of Banvit and also spent one year at Besiktas Icrypex before breaking out with the Lions and staying at Galata from 2021 to 2025. In total, he has played 60 BCL games.

With captain Alberto Diaz projected to miss three to four weeks due to injury, back-to-back champion Unicaja welcomed Justin Cobbs, as reported by insider Chema de Lucas earlier Sunday. Introducing himself to the Champions League earlier in his 2025-26 journey, the 34-year-old guard averaged 9.9 points and 3.1 assists per contest with Mersin Spor. His next assignment is in Group K, meeting the team coached by Ibon Navarro with a 1-1 record.

Per the press release: “Justin Cobbs joins Unicaja, pending on passing the medical test tomorrow. The 34-year-old Montenegrin point guard, who stands at 1.91 metres tall, has a long history in European basketball. This season he played for Turkish club Mersin Sports Club, which faced Unicaja in the first phase of this season’s Basketball Champions League. Cobbs’ arrival comes at an important time in the season, with Unicaja having suffered the loss of Alberto Díaz.”

On Saturday, Clifford Omoruyi parted ways with Galatasaray MCT Technic to join PAOK in the FIBA Europe Cup Round of 16 and Greece’s Stoiximan GBL Regular Season. In his short stay with the Lions, the 24-year-old center made his BCL debut and lone league appearance on December 17.
