After being named to the Team of the Week and entering a 24-hour fan vote to decide the Player of the Week for Gameday 3 of the Round of 16 of Basketball Champions League Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL, Johnny Berhanemeskel got the nod.
The 33-year-old guard of Le Mans was confirmed as the Player of the Week on Friday.
On Wednesday at Antares, Berhanemeskel went for 20 points on 6/13 from the field, and three rebounds, helping his side beat Rytas and improve to 3-0 in Group I. With one more continental game left before the international break, MSB gets Galatasaray MCT Technic at home next Wednesday.

The Canadian guard has spent the majority of his professional career in Europe and introduced himself to the BCL as a Budivelnyk player in the Qualification Rounds before the 2022-23 season. Bouncing back in the 2025-26 edition, he has averaged 15.2 points per contest over ten appearances.
