Frank Bartley, with an outstanding performance, brought his team to the brink of first place

AEK achieved a triumph in Athens in the fifth round of group J in the Round of 16 in the Basketball Champions League, defeating Tofas 96-88 on their home court.

Frank Bartley was impressive, finishing the game with 22 points and five assists. Greg Brown III, James Nunnaly, and Rob Gray each scored 13 points, with Gray also grabbing 12 rebounds.
On the other side, Jordan Floyd scored 20 points, Lynn Kidd added 16, while Marek Blazevic had 13.

A great match was played in Athens, and the decision came in drama. Tofas managed to reach a tie midway through the fourth quarter (77-77), but AEK made a 7-0 run, pulled away, and eventually secured the victory.

In group J, it was already clear that AEK and ALBA would advance to the Quarterfinals. The team from Athens remains unbeaten with a 5-0 record and will visit ALBA in the final round, in a match that will decide who will advance as the first. On the other hand, Tofas is in third place with a performance of 1-4, and they are awaiting a match against AS Karditsa.
