Tenerife secured a victory in the fifth round of group L in the Round of 16 of the Basketball Champions League, defeating Gran Canaria 79-76 in front of their fans.
Marcelinho Huertas was impressive, scoring 28 points and helping his team achieve a crucial victory. Fran Guerra had 12, and Aaron Doornekamp added ten points. For the visitors, Kassius Robertson scored 23 points, while Nicolas Brussino had a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.
