Unicaja achieved a victory in Malaga in the sixth round of the Round of 16 in the Basketball Champions League, defeating Joventut 86-74 on their home court.

Tyler Kalinoski was the top performer for the winning team with 17 points, Killian Tillie added 15, and Augustine Rubit contributed 14. For the visitors, Jabari Parker delivered another strong game with 21 points, while Ludde Hakanson and Simon Birgander each added 10.

It was clear before the match that both teams would advance, with the only question being who would finish first and who second in the group. Unicaja needed a win by more than five points, which they ultimately secured. The decision came in the final quarter, which Unicaja won 24-14, achieving their goal.

Both teams finished at the top of Group K with a 4-2 record, but the Malaga team is ahead due to the better head-to-head points difference.
