The Australian veteran played his first minutes in what was a game with no impact on the standings

Trieste secured a victory in the sixth round of Group L in the Round of 16 of the Basketball Champions League, defeating Tenerife 82-76 on their home court.

Jahmi’us Ramsey shone, finishing the match with 31 points, while Lodovico Deangeli was the only other player in double digits for the Italian team with 12 points. For the visitors, Wesley Van Beck scored 15 points, Rokas Giedraitis had 14, and Patty Mills made his debut in the BCL, scoring nine points in just under 15 minutes on the court.

Another game this evening was decided after a comeback. The visitors entered the last ten minutes with a lead (62-55), but the Italians won the final quarter 27-14 to secure the victory.

However, it was clear before the match that Trieste could not advance, while Tenerife would proceed to the quarterfinals. The Spaniards finished at the top of the group with a 4-2 record, while Trieste ended at the bottom of Group L with a 2-4 record.
