AEK Athens achieved a victory in the sixth round of Group J in the Basketball Champions League Round of 16, defeating ALBA Berlin after overtime with a score of 93-88.

With this win, the Greeks completed this part of the competition with all victories and confirmed their first position in Group J in a direct duel.

Frank Bartley was, as usual, the standout performer with 29 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. RaiQuan Gray added 24 points, while James Nunnally scored 12. Greg Brown III also scored in double figures with ten points and nine rebounds.

For ALBA, Justin Bean led the scoring with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Jonas Mattisseck added 14.

The decision in Germany came after drama, as the visitors could have won in regulation time. However, Justin Bean corrected Jack Kayil’s miss in the last second to send the game into an additional five minutes (79-79). In overtime, AEK managed better, with Bartley and Gray dominating, and the Athenians took two points from the German capital.

AEK finished the Round of 16 undefeated and at the top of Group J, while ALBA is second with four wins and two losses.
