The Basketball Champions League landscape continues to take shape as several clubs secured vital squad reinforcements on Wednesday ahead of the upcoming 2026–27 campaign.
In a major move for Group C of the Regular Season, Hungary’s NB I/A titleholders Falco KC Szombathely bolstered their backcourt with the recruitment of 25-year-old playmaker Darrion Trammell. Standing at 1.77 meters, the defensive specialist is set to make his debut in the BCL. He joins an established nucleus that features Zoltan Perl, Benedek Varadi, Andras Dez Tanoh, Salamon Herger, Peter Veraszto, and Roland Horvath, Uros Rosic, Kristof Bognar, Akos Keller, and Joshua Patton already locked into the rotation for a grueling group phase schedule.
Meanwhile, Group G contenders Slavia Prague ERA NBK matched that ambition by signing 24-year-old guard Javian McCollum. Mirroring Trammell, the former collegiate standout arrives as an explosive newcomer to the tournament and is expected to share primary ball-handling duties next term. The Czech powerhouse had previously laid a formidable foundation for their European run, confirming veterans Jaromir Bohacik, Vojtech Hruban, and Martin Kriz, alongside rising talents Radovan Mrazek and Ronaldo Segu.
Further tweaking their lineup for the cutthroat Qualification Rounds, Landstede Hammers also made waves in the transfer market. The Dutch outfit announced the addition of 23-year-old floor general Jlynn Counter to spearhead their offense. This arrival marks a crucial step in the team’s preparations as they look to navigate the preliminary stages and clinch a Group C spot alongside Szombathely, AEK, and Windrose Giants Antwerp.
