On Thursday, AEK officially secured the services of veteran floor general Thomas Heurtel, confirming recent speculations regarding his next career chapter. The 37-year-old French playmaker prepares for his maiden campaign in the BCL following a decade in the EuroLeague between 2011 and 2021, followed by a return to LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne last season where he put up 9.2 points and 5.4 assists per game.
Under the guidance of experienced mastermind Dragan Sakota, Heurtel slots into a stacked rotation alongside Frank Bartley IV, Charis Bilionis, Greg Brown III, Vassilis Chartonas, KeyShawn Feazell, Dimitris Flionis, Stavros Gymnopoulos, Nelly Joseph Jr., Dimitris Katsivelis, Giannoulis Larentzakis, Lukas Lekavicius, Landers Nolley II, DeAndre Pinckney, Gaios Skordilis, Giorgos Tsalmpouris, and Derrick Williams. The Greek club relies on this reloaded arsenal to navigate a Group C journey opposite Falco Szombathely, Windrose Giants Antwerp, and a survivor from the Qualification Rounds.

On Wednesday, Israeli outfit Bnei PenLink Herzliya prioritized youth injection with 21-year-old Emry Kagan. The newcomer was added to versatile unit assembled by head coach Yehu Orland, which already featured Imri Billet, DJ Brewton III, Zack Bryant, DJ Burns Jr., Noah Carter, Daeshon Francis, Amit Gershon, Dusty Hannahs, Nathan Knight, Shmuel Malcov, Amit Menachem, Kai Obziler, Nitay Shalem, and Roy Solomon.
