Dimitris Mavroeidis, who in the past played in Spain for Bilbao, may leave Greece again but this time for Italy, as he has an offer from Avellino.
Mavroeidis who finished the season in AEK averaging 9,3 ppg and 5,9 rpg is a free agent and the Italians are knocking on his door. Avellino which was one of the stand outs team in Italy last season is preparing also for the FIBA Champions League and the 31 years old big man can more than help them.
It remains to be seen how things will play out and if Mavroeidis will become the starting center of the Italians.
