With a video posted on his Instagram story, Turkish international center Semih Erden announced that he’s joining Basketball Champions League club Besiktas.
Erden had begun the season with Hacettepe Universitesi since he didn’t manage to find a team during the summer after departing from Darussafaka.
The 31-year-old big guy had previously played for Besiktas during the 2011 NBA lockout. Last season he averaged 4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 14:44 minutes of 10 games in EuroLeague with Darussafaka.
