Brazilian center Augusto Lima will be departing from Champions League club Besiktas to sign with  Chinese side Xinjiang Flying Tigers, according to Eurohoops sources.

The 26-year-old player received a rather lucrative offer from Xinjiang which will earn him three-times the salary he was receiving in Besiktas, hence his decision to leave the club.

Lima’s side will pay a buy-out sum to the Turkish team in order for the center to become a free agent and join Xinjiang where former EuroLeague star Darius Adams is also playing.

Besiktas will cover Lima’s absence by acquiring Colombian big Juan Palacios for the remainder of the season. The team also expects Semih Erden to be back in action in early January.
