Umana Reyer Venezia needed extra five minutes to take down Rosa Radom at home102-93. Mitchell Watt stepped up in overtime scoring 10 of his 25 points in that period. With this win, Venezia ended their losing streak as they lost the previous three games.

With just half a minute left on the clock, the two teams were tied at 86-86. Bruno Cerella missed the three-point shot for Venezia giving the visitors a chance to win with 12 seconds remaining. However, Ryan Harrow turned the ball over and the game went to overtime.

The Key: The Italians had more energy in the crucial moments as they won the overtime 16-7.

After the first half, the visiting squad was up by 11 points (52-41) as their offense was doing work for them.  Kevin Punter was on a roll scoring 16 points in the first 20 minutes of the game.

However, the Italians were able to come back in the second half. First, they cut the lead after the third quarter to 69-63 and with a quick 9-1 run in the start of the last period, they tied the game at 72-72.

The Star: Who else than Watt who finished the game with 25 points and stepped up when his team needed him the most. He also had 13 rebounds recording a double-double.

Not enough: Punter had a game-high 31 points tonight, but Rosa Radom needed much more from other players to win this one.

With this win, Venezia now stands on a 5-5 record while Rosa Radom sinks to a 1-9.
