Nanterre knocked down Besiktas at home on the last day of the regular season in the Basketball Champions League.

Nanterre 92 ended Besiktas Sompo Japan winning streak of 4 straight wins in the Basketball Champions League. The hosts won the game 73-68 and moved up to a 9-5 record.

However, despite the tonight’s loss, the Turkish team remained at the top of the Group D in the Basketball Champions League with a 10-4 record.

The Key: It was the second quarter that separated teams tonight. The hosts brought their A defence in these moments keeping Besiktas at only 14 points in the second period (23-14).

The visitors tried to bounce back in the last quarter which they won 19-14, but they fall short.

The Star: Alade Aminu led the way with 17 points, but it was Jamal Shuler’s all-around performance with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists that pushed Nanterre.

Josh Adams had 13 for Besiktas, but it didn’t mean much.
