Basketball Champions League-bound Italian club Virtus Bologna announced that it has reached an agreement with French forward Amadou-Amath M’Baye with a contract for the upcoming season.
“I’m enthusiastic about this new challenge and helping Virtus Bologna win,” M’Baye said for the team’s website. “I will always give 110% to the club and the team.”
M’Baye, 28, spent the previous season with Olimpia Milano. In EuroLeague, he averaged 6.3 points and 2 rebounds in 18 minutes per game, while he also averaged 6.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in the Italian League, helping the “Red Shoes” win the Serie A title.
