Youssoupha Fall dropped a double-double helping Strasbourg stay perfect in Basketball Champions League with a road win against Besiktas.

SIG Strasbourg played the best when it was most important and managed to get away with a 78-71 road win against Besiktas Sompo Japan on Day 3 of Basketball Champions League.

Youssoupha Fall led the victors with a double-double of 17 points and ten rebounds while Mike Green scored game-high 18 points. For Besiktas,  Ivan Buva scored 16 in addition to Robin Benzing’s 14 points.

Although Besiktas opened the game with a 15-5 run, the guests answered with ten straight points for a tie at the end of the low-point first quarter (15-15). The Turkish team had the minimal 36-35 lead at halftime but despite a lot of ups and downs, neither team could gain a significant advantage throughout the game.

The French stayed undefeated with a 3-0 record in Group D while Besiktas suffered their second loss (1-2).
