DeQuan Jones put on a strong performance leading Unet Holon to an 88-72 home win against Opava on Day 4 of Basketball Champions League.
Jones led the victors with 23 points and five assists while Darion Atkins added 16 points. For Opava, Rostislav Dragoun scored 18 points.
Holon had an upper hand at the start as they quickly went ahead 23-15 but the guests made a comeback and were the ones leading 41-38 at halftime. The third quarter was fairly balanced as neither team could gain a significant advantage (64-62) but the hosts dominated the final period (24-12) deciding the match in their favor.
Holon improved to 3-1 after this win while Opava holds a 1-3 record in Group B.
