Bayreuth scored a 90-74 win over Besiktas in the Basketball Champions League game played at Istanbul. The Germans eliminated the Turkish team from last year’s playoffs, but lost the first 2018-19 match between the two teams before grabbing the “W” on Tuesday. It was the visitors’ fourth straight BCL victory and eight consecutive in all competitions.

Both clubs enjoyed some good runs during the Group Stage Round 8 game, but Bayreuth was masterful behind the arc down the stretch. Kassius Robertson led the way with five three-pointers and a total of 31 points, three of his teammates also surpassed the ten-point mark. Jason Rich notched 17 points for the losing side, Robin Benzing followed with 15.

The away win brought Raoul Korner’s team to 4-4. The Turks dropped to 3-5.
