Thanks to an 8-0 run which was made in less than two minutes, Fribourg got a crucial 77-70 lead and ultimately the 77-76 road win against Opava in Group B of the Basketball Champions League.

In a game full of runs for the two teams, the hosts despite trailing by eight after the first period (30-22) come back into the game behind 25 points by Radim Klecka (photo).

However, Klecka missed twice the shot which could have given to Opava the win in the closing seconds.

Andre Williamson (15 p. 11 r.) and Babakar Toure (14 p. 11 r.) finished the game having both a double-double, still, in the end, Fribourg proved to be quite lucky. The guests prevailed despite not scoring in the last two minutes of action and got their second win in the competition for this season, while Opava remains last on the group standings with a 1-8 record.
