PAOK started the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Group B Day 10 match with a 17-0 run and didn’t look back until the 92-77 win against Hapoel Holon.

The Greeks, best BCL team beyond the arc, finished the game with 14/21 three-pointers. William Hatcher poured 26 points with 5/6 threes. Jamal Jones had 13 points. Phil Goss and Milenko Tepic added 12 each.

Shawn Jones had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the visitors, Corey Walden posted 15 points, Darion Atkins 13 and T.J. Cline 11. Scottie Reynolds, injured Khalif Wyatt’s replacement, failed to score in 20:45.

Tuesday’s result brought both teams to 6-4 and a third one, Opava, on the brink of elimination. Ilias Papatheodou’s team and Dan Shamir’s one have four more games to prove they deserve a Playoff spot, but the Greeks did secure the tiebreaker over the Israelis.
