Dijon started with a 9-1 run, but was no match for AEK the rest of the way. The Queen went off for a 80-56 win over the French club in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Group C Round 11 game played at the OAKA Olympic Indoor Hall on Wednesday.

Vince Hunter once again led the defending champions. The 24-year-old American dominated the third period with 15 points and finished with 22 to raise his 2018-19 BCL average to 17,6. He was 9/10 from the field, also grabbed nine rebounds in 20 minutes en route to a 30-point efficiency ranking.

Dusan Sakota added 11 points for AEK. Obi Emegano scored a team-high 12 points for the losing side.

After securing a playoffs spot last week, Luca Banchi’s team got back on the win column and upped its record to 9-2. Laurent Legname’s club dropped to 3-8, but still has a very slim chance to advance to the next stage.
