Despite a slow start, Besiktas Sompo Japan managed to bounce back quickly and thanks to a strong third quarter eventually secure an 80-71 home win over Filou Oostende on Day 13 of Basketball Champions League.
Ivan Buva banked 23 points along with seven rebounds and four assists while Jason Rich nailed 24 points plus five boards. For Oostende, Nemanja Djurisic scored 20 points.
Besiktas improved to 8-5 while Oostende stayed at a 7-6 record in Group D.
