Branden Frazier took over in crunch time and led Bonn to a home win over Besiktas in Basketball Champions League

After a lot of ups and downs, Telekom Baskets Bonn came out victorious 86-82 against Besiktas Sompo Sigorta on Day 3 of Basketball Champions League. Bonn improved to 2-1 while Besiktas holds a 1-2 record in Group D.

Branden Frazier scored 14 points for Bonn on 4-5 shooting from deep, and eight of those came in the crunch time pushing his squad to victory.

Bojan Subotic added 12 followed by Anthony DiLeo with 11 points. For Besiktas, Shaquielle McKissic scored 20 and Ismet Akpinar 18 points.

Besiktas had an upper hand early leading 22-19 after ten minutes but the hosts were ahead at halftime 47-41. They kept their distance in the third quarter (67-57) and although Besiktas made a comeback (73-72), Frazier sparked Bonn’s 7-0 run which gave the German squad enough space to close the game in their favor.
