JDA Dijon made four three-pointers in the final three minutes to defeat PAOK, 81-76, at the Palais des Sport Jean-Michel Geoffroy on Tuesday.

David Holston was responsible for the last three of the clutch shots. The Chicago State alum’s late surge landed him a game-high 17 points including 5/9 beyond the arc. He also dished seven assists in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 4 match.

The hosts seemed in full control, but dropped a double-digit lead and entered a wild finish. They only hit five threes in the first 35 minutes, but added five more in the second half of the last period to erase the Greek team’s comeback.

Apart Holston, Jeremy Leloup sank a couple of threes down the stretch and finished with eight points. Richard Solomon posted 13 points and Axel Julien added a 12-point, 10-assist double-double. Zisis Sarikopoulos notched 14 and JeQuan Lewis 13 for the losing side.

A 4-0 W-L tally retains Laurent Legname’s team on top of Group D. In complete contrast, Kostas Charalampidis’s side is down 0-4.
