Anwil Wloclawek grabbed the 87-86 win over Teksut Bandirma in Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 6 action on Tuesday evening.

Tony Wroten banked a clutch three with 35 seconds to go, but the visitors still needed a couple of free throws from the 26-year-old guard for their last lead and ultimately the “W”. A missed three-pointer from Jaime Smith at the buzzer followed to conclude the tilt.

The Washington alum poured a game-high 25 points behind 11/16 from the field. Ricky Ledo contributed to the victory with 17 points, while Shawn Jones put up 15 points.

The Polish team led for most of the first half at Bandirma’s Kara Ali Acar Spor Salonu, but fell in a 12-point hole early in the last quarter. A 13-5 run got them back in the game and Wroten took care of the rest.

The win balanced Igor Milicic’s team to 3-3 in Group B, while Hakan Demir’s club dropped to 2-4 with its third loss at home in the current BCL season.

Omar Prewitt added on his impressive Champions League 2019-20 run with a team-high 22 points. Ian Hummer scored in double-digits for the third time in four games, but his 20-point performance went to waste as well.
